Royal Geographical Society Member’s Room, London

Pritchard Themis designed the lighting scheme for the newly refurbished Members’ Room at the Royal Geographical Society, London. The space was built in the 1930’s and originally served as the Society’s library. This new incarnation of the space has seen the library transformed into an informal Members’ gallery with meeting rooms and reading areas to the sides. The lighting was to meet a brief of low energy and low maintenance throughout and the final design used a combination of the latest high performance LED solutions and integrated controls to achieve this.
